Vintage Real Estate Fund I, LLC provided partial capitalization for the Waverly Place project, which is an 88 acre, multi-use, pedestrian friendly “ground up” development comprised of 220K SF of retail anchored by Whole Foods Markets, 51K SF of medical office anchored by Novant, 250K SF of Class A office space, 360 apartments, 150 single family & townhomes and a 150 key hotel.  The site is located within the coveted Southeast submarket of Charlotte, NC at the intersection of Providence Rd. (Hwy. 16) and Ardrey Kell Rd. (East – West circumferential) within 1/2 mile of the I-485 Interchange.  The Property represents one of the best new development opportunities across multiple product types in the region.  Peter Gurney and Associates conducted a real estate analysis of the Property in 2007 and concluded that this site is the single most important undeveloped commercial and residential property in the Charlotte MSA.  To date, there is material demand for retail, single family, multi-family, medical office, Class A office and hospitality.
